ESMGFZ Products for Earth Rotation Prediction

چکیده
Abstract The Earth System Modelling Group of GeoForschungsZentrum Potsdam (ESMGFZ) provides geodetic products for gravity variations, rotation excitations, and surface deformations related to mass redistributions loads in the atmosphere, ocean, terrestrial water storage. excitation compiled as effective angular momentum (EAM) functions each subsystem (atmosphere, continental hydrology) are important prediction. Especially 6-day forecasts extending model analysis runs offer essential information improvement ultra-short-term predictions. In addition individual function subsystem, ESMGFZ calculates a combined EAM prediction product. Adjusted official orientation parameter (EOP) IERS 14C04 Bulletin A, this product allows extrapolate polar motion Length-of-Day time series 90 days into future via Liouville equation. submits such an EOP 2nd EOPPCC campaign.

The earth dynamic system: the earth rotation vs mantle convection
The earth dynamic system is one of the key scientific questions on the earth science. The thermodynamic behavior and gravity force of the earth and the rheology nature of the mantle prove that mantle convection is the main power source leading the lithosphere to break and move. Yet the directivity of both the structures in the crust and plate movement reminds of the earth rotation. Here we demo...
متن کاملAutomatic geospatial metadata generation for earth science virtual data products
Recent advances in Semantic Web and Web Service technologies has shown promise for automatically deriving geospatial information and knowledge from Earth science data distributed over the Web. In a service-oriented environment, the data, information, and knowledge are often consumed or produced by complex, distributed geoscientific workflows or service chains. In order for the chaining results ...
متن کاملEarth System Science Workbench: A Data Management Infrastructure for Earth Science Products
The Earth System Science Workbench (ESSW) is a nonintrusive data management infrastructure for researchers who must also be data publishers. An implementation of ESSW to track the processing of locally received satellite imagery is presented, demonstrating the Workbench’s transparent and robust support for archiving and publishing data products. ESSW features a Lab Notebook metadata service, a ...
